The hall for livestock auctions at the Schoren area was used as first large capacity club in Vorarlberg in the 70ies. Despite intensive stable smell hundreds of teenagers met there at weekends. Parents and teachers did not approve to this dancing to pop music. Musicians like "Waterloo and Robinson" but also local artists like Elfi Graf from Dornbirn turned the area to a Mecca for the "New Generation". Today the area is still used for auctions and sometimes for boxing events.
