Invitation to a competition 
 

The city of Weiden plans to grant financial means for the alteration of the schoolyards. In order to be able to know the students' wishes and to be able to take them into consideration, the parents' council of Augustinus-Gymnasium together with the headmaster have decided to start a competition. Prizes will be offered for the best ideas. A sum of DM 600.-- is intended.

The following things have to be taken into account:

1. Pariticipants: 

all 9th, 10th and 11th forms of the Augustinus-Gymnasium can take part. 
2. Prizes: 

the number and value of the prizes will be laid down by a jury.
3. Jury: 

the jury will consist of representatives of the parents' council, the school and the students' council.  
4. Handing in the suggestions 

The suggestions have to be presented to the jury coded and numbered.
5. Conditions:
   The following conditions habe to be observed: 
   a) plan M=1 : 200 
   b) lanes and parking spots 
   c) access for the fire brigade

6. Aims and tasks: 

a) Respect the present circumstances as far as possible
b) Adapt the suggestions to the environment 
c) Structuring of the surface
d) Hints of how to realize the plans 
7. Date:  

Suggestions together with a plan M01=200 and a short explanation have to be handed in before the end of January 1982. The exact date will be provided in time.
