Although all of us
supposed, what it will be about, it showed, that
our expectations were very far from reality. Even
we had very short time for regeneration and we
were caught by a whirl of movement, singing,
dance and emotions. These accompanied us each
second on the festival in the reconstructed
magdeburg barracks - through the 2. world war
served as a lodging/house for Jewish children.
This fact enhanced the idea of the festival,
which was except to know the history of
holocaust, evolution of tolerance between
children from European and not European lands.
One thing that help us to erase differences
between us was that we spoke the same language
(English). |

| Some activities were so
interesting that we've been doing them till
today. We're sure, that we'll remember this
festival for the whole life. The aim of that was:
"Learning, sharing, understanding through
drama." And so it was that. But we must say,
that sometimes there were too many activities we
had to do and we were a little bit tired and the
way the organizers showed and told us what to do
wasn't correct we think, because it was too
suggestive. |

By some activities - workshops,
theatre, games... - we felt unpleasant, but when we
looked around and saw, that everyone does the same, this
feeling disappeared. Many of us couldn't believe, that we
are able to become so objective, to empathize to others,
to express our feelings through movements or to vent our
anger on a chair. |
