    For the control we used the following browsers:

    - Internet Explorer von Microsoft
    - Front Page

The entire development of an internet presentation was completely new for all the members of the team. Despite difficult phases it is surprising that all the members held out till the end of the project. One of the reasons for this was certainly the good relationship in between the group. It seems that the majority of the members probably already has the necessary patience which is probably characteristic for all programmers.
We deliberately tried to manage with the means available at our school. The photos were scanned in by a simple flat-bed scanner. Only a few days before the end of the project we bought and installed a digital camera. This model gave us the opportunity for first experiments with the camera. As far as the pictures are conerned it was always necessary to make a compromise between the quality of the photos and the size of the data file in order to shorten the structure of a page. Another compromise had to be made concerning the size of the pictures on the screen. If the pictures are too small details vanish, if they are bigger the screen resolution of 800x600 is hardly sufficient for a complete presentation. As the pupils regarded this internet presentation at the same time as a photo documentation, most of the pictures were left very big.
At the beginning the pupils had the impression that the use of the single programs was the actual difficulty. In the course of the project they had to realise in fact that the makeup of a page made at least as much demands on them. Due to the fact that this was our first project and we thus couldn`t solve all the problems when it comes to the page makeup, we did without frames because of pedagogic reasons. That ist why all the pages have a simple structure. The fact that this model is the very pride of its ´architects and builders` is the reason why the different perspectives of the staircase model  appear very often when it comes to the presentation of the project.
