| Since 1990 the Heimatmuseum der
Marktgemeinde Reutte is situated in
the so called "Grünes Haus" in the centre of Reutte. The exhibits
show the artistic and technical development of the
Außerfern. The Museum gives a summary of the culture
history of this region. The "Grünes Haus" was built in the 16th century and restaured in the 80ies. During these works unique fresco-paintings and stucco ceilings in Renaissance style came to light.
