HASLEV

Haslev Church
We think that the first woodenchurch was built in the last 11th century . In 1200 they built a new church of limestone. It was a normal villagechurch .In 1300 the church was extended towards west .In 1400 the chorus was built longer and broeder and the tower was built . The last annexe was from 1914-16 and a new chorus was built across the old chorus. In 1960 there was a big modernization of Haslev church. Before the last annexe there was 215 seats in the church. After the annexe was built there were 641 seats in the church and there are 2 services each Sunday.
Moltke earl of Bregentved gave a tower clock to Haslev church. There are pews from 1560 with fillings. The altar got two brass candle sticks and a seven branched candle stick, a altarwinepilcher and a chalice. The biggest bell is from 1360.
