You can see Bregentved castle from far away. When you drive by the castle you can see the lake and the big park. Today Bregentved owns 15810,8 acress of land.7636,8 acress of this land is forest.There have lived many different people in the castle.In 1731 A.D. a general called Poul Vendelbo dé Løvenørn owned the castle. He died in 1740 A.D. and the king of Denmark bought the castle back.
Six years later Frederik the 5th. gave the castle to his loyal servant Adam Gottlob Molkte. He began to change the crops every year. In the year of 1750 A.D. Adam Gottlob Molkte got promoted so that he got more land and more farms.
Today the owners of Bregentved is Christian Molkte and Kirsten Molkte. Their parents live by the lake in a small house.
