The majority of the students answered in reply to the question that
they had chosen this picture, because it made a positiver and warmer
impression on them and because the shining, satured gold and the
contented features (her red cheeks) attracted them.
The picture expresses tenderness, love and contentment for them all.
Only one girl was reminded of a douby picture in a church, although
the others underscored that to that extent, that they would never
hang it up at home.
Only a few chose this picture, because it shows hopelessness, but
nevertheless it is expressive and impressive at the same time.
All agreed that the title suits the picture although it still stands
open, who or what expresses death. His features are for them the
centre of happenings and his eyes show all the despair.
